Qualifications for Bridge Inspectors (Phase I)
Phase I of the project was completed in February 2009.
The objective of this phase was to collect information, and provide a report comparing all available UK bridge inspection standards and training/competence requirements, and relevant information from outside the UK.
The report determined that there is a need to commission the production of a single national qualification (or series of linked qualifications) aimed at providing more cempetent inspectors/examiners.
